Women tend to experience different symptoms than men. The most common symptoms in women include difficulty breathing, neck and jaw pain, fatigue and weakness, and the feeling of indigestion (nausea and vomiting).
In women, chest pain may be less predictive of a coronary infarction than in men.
In up to 60% or more of the cases, the person has no chest pain or other symptoms. These myocardial infarctions are "silent".
